Last week Santa and two of his elves appeared at The Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, abseiling down the side of the building to visit the children, families and staff.

The Balmore Group were delighted to help out Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity by organising a rope access event in the middle of December when Santa and his two best elves came down the side of the hospital building with young patients and families gathered outside to watch. And Clyde, the mascot from the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 showed up as well.

This is not the first time we have worked with the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity. Over the years, we have worked on a number of events with the charity ranging from Super Hero Abseiling Missions to participating in the charities 20th anniversary walk and being a Partner Sponsor for the charities Annual Fundraising Ball.

Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity has, for the past 20+ years supported children and their families treated at Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Since 2001, they have invested more than £30 million in the children’s hospital thanks to the generosity of donors, fundraisers and volunteers whose support ensures that the young patients in their care receive the best possible care.
