How can Rope Access be used for Heritage and Conservation Sites?
Rope Access is low impact. This means that it offers a reduced level of disturbance over the likes of scaffolding whilst providing significant cost savings over scaffolding. It is also low impact of the surface and material of the historic building itself – a primary concern for so many historic and heritage sites across Scotland.
What is Rope Access?
Rope Access is a safe method of working at height using ropes and associated climbing equipment. We use this method to reach difficult to access spaces such as Church Steeples where scaffolding, ladders and cherry pickers are either too costly, unadvisable or simply not able to reach their intended goal.
