Our Industrial Roofing team completed the installation of a new 1200m2 Protan High Performance Single Ply Flat Roof System for a Scottish Water Treatment Plant.
This high performance flat roofing system is ideal for flat roofs and provides the best solution for industrial building flat roofing. Protan waterproofing systems are long lasting, robust and suitable for all types of climates. Whether used on new-builds or in this case part of a refurbishment project, single ply roofing systems are quick to install and all joints are welded with hot air for complete waterproofing.

Strong and flexible, single-ply roofing sections are made from a synthetic polymer ideally suited to withstand the Scottish elements. They are one of the most popular flat roofing materials currently on the market with far fewer seams than other flat and low slope roofing systems on the market.
If the flat roofing roofing project has load bearing considerations, single-ply roofing has the advantage that it weighs a lot less than other flat roofing materials. It is also easy to install, cutting down on the roof fitting costs and is ideal for withstanding the Scottish weather.
