Refurbishment and New Build

The project covered two key elements, each requiring precision planning, high-quality materials, and specialist expertise:

1. Stand Refurbishment and Re-Cladding

The existing stadium stand was fully stripped back to its structural frame, allowing for a thorough assessment and refurbishment of all components. We then installed new black and white Sinusoidal profile cladding sheets, providing a durable, weather-resistant exterior while retaining the iconic appearance of the stand.

This approach:

• Ensured structural longevity for years to come.

• Preserved the traditional visual identity associated with the stadium.

• Delivered a cost-effective and efficient installation, minimising downtime and impact on stadium operations.

2. New Build Structure Using Greencoat Steel

Alongside the refurbishment, we delivered a completely new-build structure using Greencoat steel in a traditional zinc finish. Greencoat steel offers multiple advantages:

• Appearance and Strength: Combines the classic aesthetic of zinc with the durability of modern steel.

• On-Site Fabrication: Can be cut and shaped directly on site for precise installation, faster build times, and reduced material waste.

• Sustainability: High recycled content and bio-based coating reduce environmental impact and lifecycle costs.

• Resilience: Provides long-term protection against corrosion, weathering, and wear.

The use of Greencoat steel allowed us to seamlessly integrate a modern, sustainable solution while maintaining a traditional look appropriate for a heritage sports venue.
