Client – NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde

Description of works – Rope Access Maintenance, DOFF Steam Cleaning, Structural Support Replacement

The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QUEH) in Glasgow is not only one of the most advanced healthcare facilities in the UK, it is also the largest hospital in Europe.

As a vital hub for emergency, inpatient and outpatient services, any maintenance work on the estate requires an approach that is non-invasive, highly efficient and safety-focused.

The Balmore Group was selected to undertake critical maintenance and industrial cleaning during a planned two-week hospital shutdown; a narrow operational window in which essential services had to be carried out with zero disruption to hospital operations.
