Established in 1984 as Balmore Specialist Contracts, we have, as The Balmore Group become one of the UK’s leading specialists in inspection, repair and cleaning services.
With our head office in Port Glasgow, we have been constantly expanding both our range of services and the areas of Scotland that we cover. As a multi-service contractor, we have experience in commercial, industrial and private contracts covering sectors as diverse as renewable energy, infrastructure and transportation.
Our Managing Director, Victor MacKay, has been in the building and contracting industry for over 40 years and has worked on many prestigious and high-profile projects, from cathedral restoration to power station chimneys up to 750ft high. He was also responsible for the restoration of a major historic Glasgow building, an iconic Newcastle city centre landmark &, more recently, stonework repairs at Glasgow City Chambers.
